Ioana Petkova is an architectural educator, researcher and practitioner. She is co-leading BA(Hons) Studio 03 at London South Bank Univeristy and supporting several critical writing modules across London South Bank University and London Metropolitan University.
Ioana holds a Mag.arch. degree from University of Applied Arts in Vienna. Prior to pursuing an academic career, she gained professional experience working for WORKac in New York and ACME Architects in London. Her PhD thesis, supervised by Dr Maria Shéhérazade Giudici and Dr Mark Campbell at the Royal College of Art, explores London's housing through the idea of the commons.
